This campaign is about US – and it’s about how we can unite to make sure everyone in our community has a voice.
On Saturday, November 13, we have an opportunity to show this unity at our official kickoff event and food drive at our new headquarters at 541 Castro St.
Next year, our state is on track to have a $75 billion budget surplus – yet one in five households still go hungry. David knows the burden many families face when just trying to put food on the table. That’s why he is committed to ending hunger in California by next year.
We have the money to end hunger in California – we just need the political will. But we don’t have to wait for action from Sacramento – we can get started in our community right now. So make sure to bring as much canned food as you’d like to help us make our donations to local food banks in our community.
